Turkish Manuscripts Institution (TUYEK) has digitized the
manuscript collection of the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts and made it
available to public. The digitized versions are expected to attract more researchers
and translators in future.
The digitized manuscripts include Qurans from first century
of Hijra, manuscripts attributed to Rashidun Caliphs, maps, calligraphies and other
works from Mamluk, Ilkhanid, Seljuk and Ottoman periods. These documents can be
accessed from Türkiye Yazma Eserler Kurumu Başkanlığı website.
